Unfortunately it's located right in the middle of subdivisions (houses built right around, including mine, unfortunately). We can see them if we're out early enough, they come out to feed.
I'm afraid it'll probably be sold to developers soon though. And people around there complain about them eating their plants. Big party poopers!Karen MEGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10834425321020756655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22578035.post-36337953227516675252007-05-07T23:28:00.000-04:002007-05-07T23:28:00.000-04:00Sound like such a charmed life! That is so cool.

more pics?

I have actually walked home from the local redneck bar down the street at 3:00 am in the morning and saw 3 or 4 deer behind the parking lot of the local bank eating grass.

They usually scamper off into the wooded lot beside my place when I walk by. One night, they just ignored me. So, I went inside and grabbed the dog leashes and brought Abigail and Emily out to see them. They scampered rather quickly then.

Wild deer!....The best neighbors anyone could have!Uncivilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03165556927641960341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22578035.post-83980770014651034152007-05-07T11:37:00.000-04:002007-05-07T11:37:00.000-04:00T:Tee hee! LOL!

CK:
Yes, isn't it magical when you see deer in the morning? You should come over and see ours! In the Spring, we always have about 20 something deer in our field. We watch them in the morning when we eat breakfast and in the evening when it's supper time. They are such beautiful animals. I always feel so lucky that I get to see and experience this kind of stuff. In one of my earlier posts, I mentioned that we counted 27 (yes, TWENTY-SEVEN) deer in our back field! They were eating and just chillin' out there! The young ones were running around and playing. Beautiful, beautiful animals!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09251507898309184477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22578035.post-40254475390560527982007-05-07T11:25:00.000-04:002007-05-07T11:25:00.000-04:00Now THAT'S cool.
