#WordlessWednesday ~ Macarons & The Marriott
Two of our favourites ~ Macarons & The Marriott.
Little One having macarons at the Marriott Hotel in Manila just before catching our plane back to Canada. I miss the Philippines.
Link up your Wordless Wednesday posts. We'd love to check them out!

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

The macaroons look excellent - I love the bright colours. As always LO is a doll:)
Ok, so I've never been to Manila...but can you believe that I've NEVER had a macaron?!

I absolutely love the colors of the goodies!!!!
sounds like a lovely combination :)
Aww, I love her sweet expression! And now I'm craving cookies!
Another things on my "to make" list. Looks like the little one is loving them!

She is just so adorable!
I've never seen macaroons like that. They must be different than what we call macaroons here. Interesting.
Your daughter is a cutie pie! I don't think they give those in America. Too bad....
I love how colourful they are!
She is just too cute!! And those look so colourfully yummy!!!
Love the colours on them!
CMCM:
Awww! Thanks! She was really tired in that photo. We had to get up super early to catch our flight from Manila to Tokyo, Tokyo to Vancouver, Vancouver to Toronto...and then a 6+ hr drive back to Manitoulin Island!
OHM:
Never had a macaron?? Ohhh! We will have to remedy that! :)
Kristen:
They're pretty, aren't they? I love macarons. Wish I could make them! I tried. Total fail! LOL!
Tara:
*sigh* Wish we were there right now. The Marriott Manila and macarons!?!? I'll take that any day!
Kathryn:
:) Her expression was kinda cute. She was SO exhausted. We had to get up at 5AM to get to the airport. This pic was taken at 7AM. Yes, I know. Bad mommy letting her kid have macarons for breakfast! LOL! In my defense, 7AM in the Philippines is 7PM in Toronto! LOL!
Shayna:
PLEASE make the macarons and post the recipe! I have TRIED and it was a complete and utter fail! I'll have to post a pic. It was pathetic. You will either laugh or cringe.
Your daughter is totally adorable!
Now those look tasty!
