@MeMyselfUsInc Baking Kit Review & #Giveaway!

One of my favourite activities to do with Little One is baking. She loves 'helping'. It's lots of fun and she learns so much at the same time. Children learn to help, but they also learn math (measurements, addition, multiplication, etc). It's also a neat science experiment, if you will. They learn what happens if you add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. They get to see the difference between liquids and solids and how batter "fluffs up" (in my almost 4 year old's words) when it is baked in the oven.

Imagine how excited we were with the serendipitous discovery of MeMyselfandUs!

Me Myself and Us has baking kits that come complete with everything a budding little baker needs to create adorable edible treats. They have baking kits for everything from cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, and brownies! All the instructions are easy to follow. In fact, the instructions are so simple and easy to follow that even my daughter (who is not even four years old yet) can understand and follow!

We were given a fabulous (and very generous) selection of kits to try out. Little One chose:

Hello Kitty Cake Pops Baking Kit - She's really into all things Hello Kitty at the moment.
Butterfly Cupcake Baking Kit - Her Junior Kindergarten class is studying the life cycle of the butterfly, so she's also really interested in butterflies these days.
Keebler Paint Your Own Animals Cookies Kit - We live on a farm and she is obsessed with animals.
Hannukah Cookie Kit - She wants to make Hannukah cookies with one of her friends who celebrates Hannukah.
Let's Party Cake Pops Baking Kit - She just loves the sparkly decorations!
Jack-O-Lantern Cake Pops Baking Kit - Perfect for Halloween
Snoopy's Brownies Baking Kit - Just in time for Halloween!

When asked which kit we should test first, Little One immediately said the butterfly cupcakes! We were having a Princess Tea Party and she thought these would be perfect for her and her friends. She also inserted that the Hello Kitty cake pops were to be made for her birthday and the Halloween cake pops and brownies were for Halloween.

This is what happens when you let your not even four year old have free creative license when it comes to cupcake decorating. Note the technique of arranging candy on Little One's cupcake?

I love the beautiful silicone butterfly baking cups!

Little One's friends loved the Butterfly Cupcakes. They certainly were the perfect addition to their Princess Tea Party!

We are officially huge fans of MeMyselfandUs! The baking kits are fun, easy, and include everything you need for stunning edible creations. I have to say that another reason I love the kits is because it gives me something fun to do with my daughter. We had a great time together! I'm thinking her Daddy can help her make the Halloween treats! I know they'll have a blast doing that together!
