@greenkidcrafts Discovery Box is a @PTPA Award Winner for a reason!
What kinds of activities do you do with your kids?
There's nothing more amazing and heartwarming than seeing the look of awe and amazement in your child's face. When my child is at home from school, we love reading books, baking, going for hikes, doing science experiments, arts and crafts, and just having lots of fun together. I've got a whole slew of experiments and craft ideas in folders, but am always looking for more fun and educational things to do with her.
We were so excited when were introduced to Discovery Box!
Green Kids Crafts sends kids a monthly Discovery Box packed with eco-friendly, educational, hands on arts, crafts and science activities. This is something my little girl just loves!
Imagine your child receiving their own Discovery Box every month and learning and having fun as a family? We're really excited about this!
Our Discovery Box included everything from all the items one needs for growing sprouts, making a mosaic tile coaster, homemade fishing set (with felt to make the fish). So much fun!
Little One is only 4 years old, so she needed help from Mom with using scissors and following the instructions given. She thought it was so much fun to CREATE her own toys! Who knew that "going fishing" could be so exciting?
Instead of writing the numbers on the fish, I cut out numbers from the leftover felt and Little One glued them onto the fish. This particular activity is great for my Junior Kindergarten child for number sequencing, identifying colours, etc. We even played addition and subtraction games and she thought it was just a lot of fun!
I think her favourite activity was probably making a mosaic coaster out of tiles. Little One just loves gluing things together! She was so proud of herself to have made something so beautiful. She said she's
giving the coaster to her Grampy.
Another reason why Mommy loves the tiles is that we were able to use them for counting games, grouping colours together, etc. The possibilities for activities are endless!
I'm excited to say that Green Kid Crafts' Discovery Box is also a PTPA Award Winner! Congratulations Green Kid Crafts! We loved being PTPA Testers for this product and we are thrilled that Discovery Box is a PTPA Winner!
