About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Our strawberry season lasts like 1-3 weeks depending on weather but they are incredible. Smuckers and Hagendaas buy exclusively from here because the sugar content is like 3 times other strawberries. But that one in the photo looks yummy...
VE:
Ohhhh! I want to live where you live! Best strawberries around!
Wow! It's been SO long since we last corresponded! How are you?
Ahhh! This means I must go picking this week! Strawberry season always sneaks up on me.
Mmmm more berries! We don't really have a spot for strawberries but I did buy a pot of them and my little one is loving pick her own strawberries :)
thanks for the linky. Your strawberry looks great. Mine are all SUPER tiny (but still tasty)
oh lucky! I would love to be able to pick strawberries fresh from home!
I am totally drooling for everyone's garden pics...we didn't put one in this year :(

My dream is to live on a farm and grow much of our own food, including, of course some delicious strawberries. My favourite fruit when they are in season. Strawberry Ice-cream...yummmm...please send some!!
I am planning to go berry picking with the kids this summer. Soon actually. Thanks for the reminder.
Strawberries in your very own garden!! How wonderful!
You are so lucky to just pick them in your garden!
Liz:
So many things sneak up on me too in the Summer! LOL!
Shayna:
Great idea to have potted strawberries to keep on the deck! Love that!
Mamawee:
The tinier, the sweeter! :)
MVTB:
LO loves going out in the morning and afternoon to pick strawberries!
OHM:
We sort of neglected them and they're growing like crazy on our farm! LOL!
Monica:
Come over for a visit, Monica! lol
Paula:
Gotta love strawberry season!
Stephanie:
Very happy to have our own strawberries! I was feeling really guilty about buying them in the store - they're all from Mexico!
Lyne:
Thinking of all the things to make with them...or maybe just eat them as is! lol
