#WordlessWednesday ~ Canadian Winters! Brrr!
School bag. Check. Snowsuit, hat, and mitts. Check, check, and check. Sled. Check. Sled dog. Check. ;) Just kidding. He doesn't pull the sled. He just comes along for the trek.
Just another Winter day in Canada. Okay, in the rural North!
Feel free to link up your Wordless Wednesday posts! We love to check them out and comment!

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

I wonder if I could get our dog to pull the sled?!?! Probably not.
So bundled up and cute!
I wonder if our dogs would pull a sled. May have to try that before the snow melts :)
We used to have a Rottweiler cross that could pull four-year-old Zackary and me in a sled behind him. It was always a blast heading to the park and just letting him run! Lol
He totally could pull the sled though, if he got the opportunity! :)
Its funny it looks like your child is stiff as a board from all the warm clothing...
love how bundled she is!! and your dog is so sweet! looking so protective
he looks like he could pull the sled for sure! lol love how bundled up she is!
Very Canadian indeed! Now bring on spring please!
Very cute... wait did you say LO check!...? Is she in there??? :)
it snowed 18 inches where we live, and for the first time ever we got to go sledding ;)
Thank you for hosting a linky, I have one as well, if you'd like to stop by, and there is also a link for a giveaway link-up ;)

What kind of dog do you guys have? Chance could probably pull the sled. He's big enough, but he's got the attention span of a goldfish. He'd be all over the place. I know...he's 10 years old and isn't really trained well :( He acts like a puppy!
MTM
:) She was so bundled up, yet the lady pulling the sled forgot to wear mittens and a tuque! Go figure!
Jennifer
LOL! Try it and let me know how it goes! ;)

Ohhh! FUN! I love Rotties! They've got a bad rep, but all the Rotties I have known have always been so docile, sweet, and smart!
Manager to Mom
You're absolutely right! LOL! I'm sure he could! :) He'd totally go flying off with my kid though! ;) Well, he's really protective over her, so maybe he'd be okay.
Margarita
LOL! Yes, Little One does that "stiff as a board" post quite often. She's a real goof ball!
Carla
So true! He really is protective of her :) I love how sweet he is.
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a sled dog though?! ;)

You should train the dog to pull the sled! lol. I had a belgian sheepdog growing up and he LOVED pulling me around on the sled...it was so fun! hehe
My Dad had a kick sleigh and had his dog pulling us around all the time. I miss that dog, and I miss that kick sleigh!
Great to be Canadian, eh?
ready for some fun all bundled up like that. :)
Gotta love our Canadian winters! Great photo and you have a very fluffy dog!
