#WordlessWednesday ~ Kid's Lunch
Little One's school doesn't have a lunch break, but two nutritional breaks. The upper part of her bento box has a Vietnamese style salad on rice vermicelli and the lower part of her bento has grapes, sliced pear, sliced orange, and a muffin. She also had a yogourt and a Thermos filled with water to accompany her lunch.
What do your kids like to eat for their school lunches?
Feel free to link up your Wordless Wednesday posts! Ha! Mine's not so "wordless" this week!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Can you start packing my "nutritional breaks" for me? Yum!
Elizabeth:
LOL! Sure thing! ;)
wow. My kids have nutritional breaks too but they get stuff like sandwiches and apples or bananas. You are amazing.
Tara:
No...No, I'm not! LOL! I give her apples and bananas too, but she (like her mother!!!) isn't much of a bread or sandwich person. Sometimes I wish I could just pack her a sandwich though!! The school has pizza day and Hubby signed up Little One for it so she could have a slice of pizza on Wed with her classmates. Well, like I said, she's not a bread-type person and came home crying "I don't want pizza day! I want Mommy's cooking!" She's only 4 years old, but says she doesn't like greasy or "bready" things. Weird for a JK student??
My First grader eats the school lunch every day, because no outside food is allowed in the school. When he was in preschool, his favorite lunch was a whole avocado with dressing with chocolate milk and fruit.
My preschooler? She wants to eat a plain yogurt every day, come hell or high water!
I'd love it if you'd stop by my Wordless Wednesday and link up! http://peekababyny.com/wordlesswednesday/post-2208/#
My little guy is a picky eater, so he usually goes with a yogurt or a cheese stick.
she is an adventurous eater! so jealous!
aww! wish you could follow me on instagram! I take pics of tons of food. There's even a pic of one of Orangie's lunches too! :(

Yum, that looks delicious. I would like to have that right now!
Love the lunch! Wanna make me one - looks delicious! :)
Jessica:
Mmm! Love avocado! Little One used to want guacamole all the time. She'd eat it on anything and everything. Sometimes she just wanted guac on toast!
Heading over to your blog now. Thanks so much for popping by, linking up, and commenting :)
Masshole Mommy:
Mmm! Yogurt and cheese sticks are some of Little One's faves too!
Jen:
Friends and fam say we're lucky. I guess we are. However, she only has two options for meals: Take it or Leave it. Nothing else. LOL!
OHM:
Christy! I can follow you on Instagram from my iPod! What's your Instagram name?
You are making me crave my old favorite restaurant in Calgary. Best Vietnamese food ever! You are a great lunch creator!
I wish my mother would have been a little more creative. I hated sandwiches. She packed them every day and every day I gave them away...
Looks yummy... with homeschooling I really miss packing lunches.
Love the bento box. Where did you buy it?
Argh! My first comment disappeared. Drat! Anyways I was shaking my head at Annie - I do not enjoy lunches. Did I tell you this story yet? I was super busy valentines day so I asked my kids to make their own lunch. I smartly met them at the door and said show me what you got. Well, one of my wee monsters packed a bag of chocolate chips and a juice box. Can you imagine?? Right back upstairs to the kitchen. Try again! Honestly! Love your bento.
Ok..seriously Christine...your kid always has THE BEST lunches!! You are one awesome mama! Can you come make our lunches? hehe. You rock! And I love how your little one LOVES so many different types of food :)
I so hope I can make such good packed lunches when my kids start school. I also hope they eat them!
Yummers! My boys are so boring about their lunches; meat sandwiches, fruit cups and granola bars all the way. Sigh!
Love those cure lunch containers!
hmmm, looks like a good breakfast :). I think I'm hungry.
