Earth Hour
Don't forget! Turn off your lights March 29, from 8 to 9 p.m. "Unplug your TV, your computer, your DVD player - or if you’ve been following these tips, just flick off the power bar you have them all plugged into. Head outside and check out the skyline, by foot - not car."

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

we'll be doing just that...i just wonder how many others will follow suit or just ignore this plea to conserve...
We're battening down the hatches and heading out.
yup - we are all with you!
yep, I did it. Thought it was so cool too. I first heard about it on google and was inspired
Dina:
I was watching the news this morning and saw that many people in Toronto turned off their lights too! The news showed what Toronto normally looks like at night and what Toronto looked like last night.
Jan:
How was your Earth Hour experience? We went for a walk and enjoyed the outdoors. The sunset was beautiful.
mrinz:
:) I was really impressed with the number of people who participated in Earth Hour.
Palm Springs Savant:
Did many people participate where you live? I was thinking about you guys last night and wondering what Palm Springs would look like with no lights.
