I'm such a lucky girl...

As I write this, I glance over at my sleeping hubby-to-be. He is so sweet and I thank my lucky stars (or forces far more powerful than you and I) for bringing him into my life. I think about reasons I love him and I've come up with a massive list, but the top 10 reasons for me wanting to spend the rest of my life with him are:

1-he is such a hardworking man
2-he loves me despite all my faults (he says even more so with them!)
3-he makes me see the beauty of life and how to enjoy each moment
4-he is respectful to all those he meets
5-he is respected by all those who know him
6-he believes in exercising civic and moral duties
7-he shares the same beliefs and values as I do with regard to work, family, love and life
8-he is family oriented
9-he is patient and understanding
10-he is thoughtful

Yesterday, he made me b & e for breakfast, with toast, orange juice, hot chocolate and a banana. It was so sweet having my hubby-to-be just take care of me. I know it seems like a trivial matter, but the little things like that are very important to me.

My Bizarre, Freaky, Crazy Condition
In my stupidity, I had a Swiss mocha in the afternoon. Those of you who know me, are well aware of my 'condition'. Coffee and I do not mix. I have a terrible adverse reaction to certain forms of caffeine, mostly in coffee. Basically, coffee knocks me out. When I was in university and had insomnia, I'd take a shot of espresso or cappucino and I'd be out like a light. To test this coffee theory out, a friend of mine handed me a coffee on our break from our 3 hour lecture on Victorian literature. Needless to say, I was drooling and snoring on my desk within minutes...and I sat in the front row, right in front of our prof. Nice, eh?

Where was I? Oh yeah, the Swiss mocha! I didn't think it would hit me so much, since I figured it was mostly hot chocolate...and I had dilluted it with extra water. Hmmmm...well, John and I were in his truck and I was slowly drifting into la-la land. Yep, right before my fiance's eyes, my head started feeling very heavy and my eyes began to shut. Haha...so now he knows it's not an imaginary condition. Coffee really does have an adverse reaction on me. There's a small percentage of people on this planet who have this condition. Coffee (caffeine) is supposed to give you that extra jolt of energy and it does in most people. Unfortunately for me, it makes me fall asleep. Horrible. I haven't yet met anyone else with the same condition as me. I'd like to hear from others who suffer from this.
