Easter Weekend

I organized an Easter egg hunt at our place for our nieces and my student. They had to go on a scavenger hunt around our property and actually work for their chocolate! LOL! I limited the hunt to the areas of one of the fields closest to our house, the barn and the garden. The kids came in exhausted from running around the property, but they hauled in a lot of chocolate, lollipops and toys!

A lovely Easter supper with friends and family. Oh, my goodness! I don't think I'll be able to eat for another month!!! I didn't even have enough room for dessert! Booooooo hooooo!!!

The kids and their Easter haul from the Easter egg hunt in SouthBay.

Pretty Easter eggs painted for us from one of the ladies at our church.

My sister-in-law's feline baby, Dexter. Isn't he cute?

The yummy desserts I didn't get to eat! I did steal a bite or two off of Hubby's plate though! The cheesecake was sooooooooo good!

Oh my goodness! That's more desert than that small bakery down the road! Of course you have some left that you will FedEx to me immediately. Right? Right? :)

Hubby:
Me too! So, I guess you wouldn't mind if I didn't cook supper for the rest of the week? LOL!

T:
I was going to say, "I don't know anyone named 'ygikzqrw'!!!" I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!

Dan:
The desserts are stunning, aren't they? Our friends who invited us over are German...and boy, can they cook!!!! A German Easter supper= lots and lots of food! Btw, there's some cheesecake and lemon merringue on its way to you as we speak ;)

Karen:
It was a fun weekend...but now I'm exhausted and I think I'm coming down with a cold or something. Funny...I haven't really gotten sick since I moved to the island. I was always sick in Toronto though! LOL! I guess being on the bus, the subway, and in close quarters with such a high concentration of people can do that!

Ms.Mamma:
Hee!Hee! Actually, I do have a photo with me and "the eyes"! LOL! I just didn't post it because I looked like a freak. What we did was just cut out part of a photo in a magazine and placed it where our eyes would be. The result? A very freaky face that would make you run if you saw it in the street! I'll post mine soon. Will you do it too? Will ya? Will ya? LOL!

Thanks for the compliments on the Dexter photo. I think they're cute too!

To answer your question, YES, let's swap links! Very sweet of you to suggest that!

Haha! Yes, it was a shame I had no room left for dessert! Our friends did send a whackload of desserts home with us, but my student dropped the cheesecake!!! *sigh* I suppose it's a sign that I am not to eat the cheesecake! LOL!!!

Sharon:
Thank you :) I'm sure you had a wonderful Easter weekend as well...with the birth of your latest grandson, it must have been an extra special occasion!
The eyes...They were cut out from a fashion magazine and we just placed them on our faces where the eyes are supposed to be (and held them there with the glasses). I've got some pretty crazy little nieces! We had a lot of fun :) It's amazing how you can entertain kids without the need of spending tons and tons of money! A little imagination goes a long way!
