Tonight We Gonna Party Like It's 1999

Growing up back in the 70s, 80s and the 90s, the year 2000 seemed so far away. As a kid, I had visions of people driving spacecrafts and being able to teleport themselves. Not that life would be like Star Wars or Star Trek, or even The Jetsons, but you get the idea.

I cannot believe that tomorrow we will be entering the year 2010. It just sounds so weird!

Now, in celebration of the year 2010, here are 2010 things about me...

Just kidding! ;) I wouldn't do that to you!

Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New Year! Enjoy each moment you have with your family and friends. That's what life's all about.

Soooooooo...What are you going to celebrate the New Year?

hahaha. I don't know if I could even come up with 2010 things about me...but I'd sure try to read someone else's!

We don't like to get out on New Year's since all the crazies seem to emerge on New Year's Eve. We'll probably stay in and cook, watch a movie, or play trivial pursuit (my fave!) or chess.

We may not even make it to midnight! ha!

I hope you and the fam have a wonderful new year!

I have enjoyed following the growth of our sweet baby through the year.

Have a great 2010.

Happy New Year, girlfriend! We're celebrating with friends of ours, my Baby Bro, and my parents tonight. I *used to* party all night and watch the ball drop at Times Square...but this year!?! I don't even know if I'll make it to midnight! Seems like 10 PM has been my cut off time as of late! LOL! I'm soooo lame!

We had a dinner party, with good friends and yummy food. :) My friend Jenn said she doesn't usually go out on NYE, because of the crappy drivers. She made an exception this year. It was a lovely time.

2010 things about me...that was a good one. :)

We went to bed. 3:45 AM comes awfully early in the morning. HA!

I remember anticipating 2000 as well, it's hard to believe it's a decade later. I wish you all the best in 2010!

BTW-today I finally got the chance and made your cream cheese filled cupcakes. YUM! Cupcake decadence for sure. I took a pic, when I get a chance here in the next day or two I will post it.

I also make the maple-glazed chicken and sweet-potatoes recipe every so often, too. Thanks for posting the recipes!

LO is sure getting big and cuter than ever!
