My Husband Remembers Everything
When it comes to dates and special occasions, my husband remembers everything. He'll remind me of the anniversary of the first day we met or our first date...right down to the years, months, weeks, and days. He even remembers the exact date we found out we were expecting! I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't even remember some of these special dates on the calendar.
This morning, he reminded me that two years and two days ago was the date that we were finally able to bring our daughter home from the hospital.
She was born on November 11th, and having her in the hospital until January just made it seem like she'd be in the hospital forever. She was three months old when we were able to take her home.
It was such a wonderful day...To finally be home together as a family. I'm glad my husband remembers special dates and reminds me of them. I seem to get caught up in what's happening NOW and stress out over everything I've got on my plate.

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
