Today was a sad day, as I bid farewell to Boswell. No, I didn't have him put down...but still feel very upset. The lady who gave him to us last year came by and said she'd take him for a few days until someone else adopts him.
With him eating the birds we're raising and him running away...and being short tempered with little kids, it really isn't safe to have Bos around. I know it's for the best, but I will miss him. He has so much character and is a sweetie (when he's not in a bad mood). He's just old and cranky and really doesn't like being around little kiddies.
Anyway, at least I still have Chance :)

That's so hard. You did the right thing, and you gave him love.
Yeah, I really miss the little guy. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just selfish in wanting to keep him around because "I" feel like I can't give him up. I miss the little bugger. He was such an affectionate dog, but at the same time, had the tendency of being a little aggressive with people other than me.
