We're off...
By this time tomorrow morning, we'll be en route to my hometown, Montreal.
Whatever holiday you observe (Kwanzaa, Tohji-taisai, Chanukah, Christmas...), we hope you have a wonderful time celebrating with your family and loved ones.
*********************************************************************************
P.S. My banner at the top of my blog is all wonky. The photo of Chance is kind of skewed to the left and on the right it's just white. Does anyone know how to fix that? Arrrgh!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

C - hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! I'll email you soon :)
Hi!
I came across your entertaining comments on your friend's blog!
Here's wishing you and your man all the entertainingest sentiments of the season!
Come by my blog if you like. It is quite an entertaining place to go:

Not sure if my last comment was sent properly.
So again - have a wonderful Christmas - both of you!
I have had a problem with my header also. Tried a different one, and it too has been reduced in size.
Lotus:
Hi! Happy Holidays to you guys as well! This is going to be a very special one for you and your loved ones! Here's to all the wonderful holiday memories you have with Baby S! She's adorable! xo
Gledwood:
Thank you for popping by! I just checked out your blog! Very interesting :) I'll certainly be visiting again!
Mrinz:
You know, I have gotten so frustrated with this stupid blog template. I can't get the photo I want to fit properly. I've ended up not using the photo of my cute little Chance and I've opted for a dreamy sky/cloud photo. I've also had to change the template from Minima Stretch to Minima. I liked the one I had before. This one looks so squished! Ah...blogging woes! LOL!
I would actually try something completely different and fun, but I don't have time to fiddle around with templates. Grrr!
Enough about my love/hate relationship with my blog template! Happy Holidays! All the best! xoxo

I hope you guys have a safe and wonderful Christmas visit with your side of the family!
I love your Christmas Card picture!
I just love Chance's facial expression!!!!!LOL!!!
I don't know why blogger want's us to have such a narrow banner.
I take the picture I'm going to use and go to my "Microsoft Picture It" program to crop down to the smallest part of the picture I can use!Making the picture 4 times wider than tall!
Then I resize it to about 1" in hieght and 4" wide
It's a trial and error to get the fit just right for the banner!
I'm not good at explaining stuff am I? LOL!!!!

Have a wonderful time! Merry Christmas!
Same to you all, kiddo. Hey, I think you need a few more critters.
Hey Chrissy, I'm still not sure what you're talking about. Are you saying your current header is not big enough? I don't know what you meant by "Chance" being skewed to the left...
The problem is, I can't see your problems on my computer. So I can't help you. Sorry. Like I said before, the templates are sensitive and will "squeeze" your sidebar to the bottom of the page, but that doesn't sound like it's your problem now.
Anyhow - Merry Christmas! Sorry I can't be of help!
hey C- Merry Christmas...hope your travels go well!

Happy Holidays, all! :)
CK, I've since changed photos. I'll try putting Chance's photo back some other time. I just got too frustrated with trying to make his photo fit into the heading space, so I took it off and just put another photo in.
Awww, what a great shot! Hope you and hubby and all your family have a wonderful time in Montreal!!!! Hope you weren't too snowed in!!
All the best from me and the L-boy, Little G and their big Daddy-O!!
Merry Christmas, Chrissy!
