My heart belongs to two men...

It belongs to him...

and also to him!
Poor Chance. I don't know if you can see it in this photo, but his bottom lip was bleeding. I think he was playing with the snow and ice and got a little frozen :(

These are from Hubby. Though I love lilies, orchids and other flowers that are not so easy to find on the Island, I'm also quite traditional when it comes to flowers. I know roses and carnations are very cliché, but there's something so refreshing about the simplicity of the carnation. The carnation has become to me, a symbol of something that is not pretentious and a reminder of Hubby's love. It's simple (as in uncomplicated), strong, reliable, and sincere.

The pretty purple and white carnations are for me from Hubby. Hubby also got a bouquet of red ones for his mom and a bouquet of red for my mom :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Happy Valentines. Poor Chance! Could you imagine if a dog got his tongue stuck to something like Harry did when his tongue stuck to the chairlift in the movie Dumb & Dumber? Ouch!!!!!

I was wondering if he got his tongue stuck on ice or something. That kind of freaked me out. I remember that scene from Dumb and Dumber! Yikes! Poor Chance :( I put some Vaseline on his boo boo, but he doesn't really want me to touch it. Hopefully it heals soon.

Rachie:
Happy V-Day to you guys too! Hope your day was a good one! :)

CK:
Thanks, sweets! Yes, Hubby was very sweet. I also hope Chance is okay! My poor baby. He's such a good doggy :)

Mrs.Mogul:
:) I'm not that into Valentine's Day either. I always had a problem with people making it that one special day of the year and going all out trying to show the person that they care for just how much they care. When I was younger, I used to think it was a really important day and that all women should expect lots of romance and thoughtful gifts. Now, it's more like "Those stupid diamond and jewelry commercials are so annoying" and "Great! All the Valentine's things are still up and already, the Easter stuff is being displayed at the stores."

I'm not really a grinch, but I just find the commercial aspect of holidays and special occasions has become rather excessive. That's just me though! ;)

Thos are pretty flowers. The purple-y one's are super nice. There is something about the simplicity of carnations that makes them a classis.

I am not really a fan of receiving roses unless they are yellow or orange. I personally will take a Lilly anyday over anything else.

Chance is adorable!

Great pictures of your great guys. Every day is Valentine's Day with them, I'll bet.

Yes, Valentine's Day! I received 14 boxes of chocolate from several different women. They were mostly students and co-workers. I dread White Day, when I will have to give chocolates to the ladies who gave me chocolate. I am rather skint at the mo' therefore I don't know what my sanbai-gaeshiin will be like! Life in Japan! Do you miss this part of it, C?

I agree with you! I do love salmon colored roses. They're really pretty. BTW, I need you to come over ASAP and help me with my unorganized madness! LOL!

Jan:
Thank you :) Yes, most days are very special with Hubby and Chance. There's another male in our house (and one other female). The other male is a 7 month old feline named Trouble (the other girl is his sister, Spike).

Pete:
Oh, yes. I remember Valentine's Day and White Day in Japan. On V-Day the girls give the guys chocolate and on White Day the guys give the girls chocolate or expensive presents, right? If you received a lot of pressies for V-Day, I guess that means you'll be giving a lot of pressies for White Day! LOL! Sucker! ;)

Trish:
Thanks so much :) I'll e-mail you this week ;)

Lisa Marie:
Poor Chance. His lip is still a bit tender. I tried putting Vaseline on it (I don't know if it would work), but he doesn't want me to touch his lip at all. Poor pooch!

Hot Mommy:
We had a great time with Baby Bro and his girlfriend. The only thing is that four days is not long enough. They left 5 hours ago and I already miss them! :(

Starshine:
That is interesting about carnations being your sorority's flower! What color carnations?

Jeanna:
The body of water behind Hubby is one of the Great Lakes. It's Lake Huron. We've got an amazing little bay near us (Carter Bay). That's actually where we used to go on dates (walks on the beach at sunset...lol. No joke!) and that's where we got married.

In the summer, the water is AMAZING! It's not cold, but not too hot. It's perfect swimming water and so clear and clean.

Mrinz:
Happy Belated Valentine's Day to you too, Mrinz! :) xoxo

Palm Springs Savant:
Thanks! :) How's my fave savant? Hope your Valentine's Day was a great one. Who am I kidding? Every day is a great one for you? You've got that swanky lifestyle! Can we do a Freaky Friday type of deal someday? I get to schmooze with all of Hollywood's finest and you teach a bunch of ESL students on the Island for a day? Sound good? LOL! ;)

Diesel:
LOL! That was a good one! ;) Looking forward to Inappropriate Card Day!!
