Something Sweet...and Something Long Overdue
2. Nominate up to 10 blogs which show great attitude and/or gratitude!
3. Be sure to link your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Remember to link the person from whom you received your award.
To quote, “Premio Dardos means ‘prize darts’ in Italian. It is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing.”
The rules are to (1) accept the award by posting it on my blog with thanks to the person who gave it to me, and (2) pass it on to 15 other bloggers, along with a comment to let them know.
This award is to be passed on to 15 other bloggers. FIFTEEN!!! Can't I just pass it on to everyone on my blogroll then?? :) Anyway, I don't think I'll be passing it on to 15 bloggers. That's just too involved for me right now. Little One looks like she's going to wake up for a feeding any minute now.
Thank you, J for the award :) Now I am going to pass it on to:
Trish @ My Little Drummer Boys
Veronica @ Someday We Will Sleep
Maria @ Notes from a Brown House
Rick @ Palm Springs Savant
Louann @ Calculated Spontaneity
I'd like to pass this on to so many more wonderful and creative writers out there, but...Little One is now screaming her head off.
Ciao for now! xo

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Thank you C. I am so happy I met you. And I look forward to the day when you will get to visit the Philippines because I will make it a point to meet up with you!!!! Thanks you again C!
C- thanks for that, you are so sweet, I really appreciate it! Are you getting ready for Mother's Day???
Look at all that bling :). So well deserved!!!
Thanks C, and can I just say you're a blogSTAR!!!
OMG, regular blogging with a 5 month old, and taking her out trekking in the country already LOL...
You are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G....
Louann:
Thank YOU! :) Like I said, you're one of the sweetest people out there! xo
Rick:
:) I thought the award was quite fitting for you! (The Premio Dardos one and not the Sisterhood one!)
Yes! I'm definitely looking forward to my first Mother's Day as a Mom!!! It's very special for me this year. Little One is such a blessing.
AWWWW! Thanks, C! This is my first award!! How exciting! I'm going to end every sentence with an exclamation point!
I am so grateful for the award, but more importantly, I am so grateful for having such a wonderful blogging friend! You are so wonderful and beatiful!
Karen:
No way! YOU'RE the BlogSTAR! :) I was going to give you the Sisterhood award too, but noticed that Louann had already nominated you. I thought the other award was great though...since I thought of you when I read this part: “Premio Dardos means ‘prize darts’ in Italian. It is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing.”BTW, yesterday I felt like I totally sucked at being a Mom. Little One is the perfect baby. She's so good and has such a wonderful, cheery disposition. It's just that I'm finding it so hard and overwhelming to keep up with everything. Every time I clean, do the dishes, get laundry done, it seems like I have to start again. I'm exhausted. I guess this is something I signed up for when I took on the role of wife and mom. It scares me to think of how I'm going to handle having students again if I am struggling as it is right now. I know millions of women do this every day. Why am I having such a hard time? THAT'S why I felt like such a bad mom and wife yesterday.
Okay, enough whining :) Little One is smiling and cooing and it's time for her feeding.
TTYS!
YOU are one of the sweetest people I've met online. Thank you so much for this. It is bloggy friends like you that keep me going :)
Hey C., thanks sweetie.
I put up photos of the wonderful box of candy you sent, should have waited a day and it would have gone from seventies to snow and things wouldn't have gotten so dicey, photo wise.
Thanks again, kiddo.
Hey thank you Chrissy!! I am away for a few days - will pass it on when I return.
Deb:
Really? I'm your FIRST?!?! :) LOL! Anyway, you deserve a billion awards :)
Thank you for the sweet comments. XO
Momisodes:
Right back at ya :) XOXO
Merinz:
See you in a few days :) You are always on the go! Busy, busy lady!
Jeanna:
Go figure! The chocolate would HAVE TO melt en route, eh? That sucks! So sad, since they really were pretty!
Hope you had a good laugh about the old age pills. I wasn't hinting at anything, btw! In fact, I think I need old age pills too! ;p
thanks for the shoutout c! that's so very sweet of you...
don't get offended but you may have noticed that i don't post those blog awards or link them or send them to other people, so i'm just going to thank you here. :)

Actually, I was going to write a note saying that I know that you're not one for blog awards and such, but wanted to let you know you're appreciated. ;) Too funny that you mentioned that since I was going to write it!
Thank you C! I will have to put that up on my site. It has been great 'meeting' you and hope we get a chance soon to make it official.
Just catchiing up now :-)
