Happy Thanksgiving

Image from here. Freedom from Want - The third of Rockwell's Four Freedoms paintings.

Today we say thanks for many things.

We say thanks for the harvest and all its bounty.
Thanks for our family.
Thanks for our friends.
Thanks for our health and a roof over our heads.

Today I say thanks for Little One being our lives. She is 11 months chronological. (8 months corrected).
Remember her first photo with Moo? She was 3 months chronological (newborn in her corrected age). Look how tiny she was!
Here she is on her 11 month monthaversary shot with Moo! My baby girl is growing up! :(
Happy Birthday to my husband! I will post pics of his surprise party as soon as my friends e-mail me the pics. I was so preoccupied that I forgot to take my camera out! Thank goodness there were others with cameras that night! :)

hi c - happy thanksgiving to you my canadian friend!

funny, i just went to a professional development workshop today, "How to Grade for Learning" by Ken O'Connor. He is an ex-pat Australian educator now living in Toronto for 40 years. He mentioned today being Canadian Thanksgiving. We all clapped and cheered for him. :) He had their turkey dinner last night.

Hope you had a great T-Day!

I once celebrated Thanksgiving twice in one year! I had the Canadian Thanksgiving with my family in Canada, and a month later I visited my friends in Philadelphia for American Thanksgiving! The menu ws pretty much the same with the exception of BISCUITS! Mmmm!! I had never had biscuits before...not until I had Thanksgiving in the States!
