I've been thinking about this for a while now. Since I started blogging in 2006, I never knew my little space in the blogosphere would bring me new friendships, some work opportunities, and a very full life online.

My offline life is a very busy one, but the blog has somehow intertwined with my online life and they've sort of become a whole. They co-exist. That sounds kind of odd, now that I think of it.

Now, instead of just posting random thoughts and musings from the Island, I find myself trying to meet deadlines for online work. It's been great, since it has allowed me to spend time raising my our daughter until I start teaching full time again.
