I cannot believe Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I once thought that the idea of having one special day out of the year to profess your undying love for someone was silly. Oh, every day is Valentine's Day, isn't it?

Nah-uh! I realize you don't need a special day on the calendar to let the one you love know you love them, but it is nice to have a day to celebrate and spoil each other. To be honest, Valentine's Day is pretty much the one guaranteed day of the year when I don't have to cook and do dishes. It's the one day of the year when I get flowers.

I'm sayin' I want to keep Valentine's Day as a day to be pampered and to go out and enjoy some quality time with the spouse.
