Things I REALLY need to get done ASAP
1. Get all my paperwork sorted for tax season. Urgh! I hate this time of the year!
2. Finish reading the book Dylon lent me AGES ago!
3. Learn how to play the guitar! Thanks Curiosity, for mailing me the present! A guitar book and CD! I’m so excited! This is something I’ve always wanted to learn!
4. Get myself a guitar! LOL! I know…
5. Figure a way how to keep my house clean. I mean, I can get it sparkling clean, but with two teenage students, a husband, two kittens (the older cat ran away again and we haven’t seen her all winter) and a dog (who only comes in when it’s really cold outside), it is so incredibly hard to keep this house clean! I sometimes feel like I’m going bonkers since it seems impossible- especially when the boys just leave their clothes and things all over the house! Aaargh!
6. Change the curtains in the living room.
7. Change the faucet and fixtures in the kitchen.
8. Give away, recycle, and throw away all the stuff in the house that we don’t use or need.
9. Try to be more patient.
10. Delete and get rid of all the extra junk on my computer.
11. Get Dylon to set up a wireless connection for our office and personal computers.
12. Investigate new computer packages and deals. My computer is still good, but hubby’s is almost antique! LOL
13. Start doing Turbo Jam and the Slim Series from Beachbody again.
14. Get more firewood split and piled.
15. Spend some alone time with hubby if we can. We seriously need to go away together. Maybe when the students are no longer living with us. Maybe.

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Urgh! That stupid Turbo Jam photo is so small and I can't figure out how to change or delete it! Anyway, off to bed...
Blimey! That old cat ran away again?! Perhaps she doesn't fancy all the new activity in your household. It must be traumatic for the old cat to all of a sudden have a bunch of students living in the house along with two new kittens. Poor cat! Can you lose the students and find the cat? :-)
LOL! Too funny, Pete!
we share so many things on our "to do" list!! I have to get this house organized before I stub my toe again- it really hurts!!!
as for keeping a house with cats clean- the only suggestion i can give is get a cleaning lady once a week- and even that isn't enough!!
I know what you mean, Dina! I would LOVE to have a cleaning lady come in to give me a little extra help! My mom grew up having maids and a driver when she lived in San Jose (in the Philippines). When I went to visit my grandparents' villa a few years ago, they had 3 maids who did the cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands. Oh, I should say 'helpers' and not maids because my grandmother hates calling them maids. She's so good to her helpers too. She's a very kind and generous woman. Anyway, I find it so hard keeping this house clean! I mean, I clean and clean and it's spotless...but that lasts all of a day or two if I'm lucky! The kids leave everything all over the place and never put things back where they belong. Oh, and the kittens!!! A friend was over one night and commented on how great it was that these little guys don't shed much. I think she jinxed me because now the kittens shed like crazy! LOL! I sound like I'm going a little bonkers, don't I? LOL!
You guys look sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute~!
Johnny angel....:0) Everytime I hear that song I think of your hubby, Chris. He's so sweet!
Oh ah, I need to get our papers organized for tax season too. Bleh!
hahaha! Me again. I just had to add that That MUST be your student sticking his hand in front of you and Johnny in the photo, eh? Cheeky bugger, isn't he?
I've tried the P90X from Beachbody and lost 18 inches (total: arms, thighs, waist, chest) and a 2 dress sizes. I didn't count lost lbs because I gained muscle mass. I rather go by lost dress sizes and inches than a number on the scale. I was a size 8 before and now I'm a size 6.
What a happy happy couple!
