Happy Halloween!!!

Hoping everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!!

What's everyone giving their trick or treaters tonight? We're giving out some chocolates (nut free) and chips (nut and gluten free), as well as Halloween pencils and erasers. I love Halloween!!! I love seeing all the costumes! In case you're wondering why we can give out pencils, erasers and lots of goodies to our trick or treaters, this is why...

We only get about a dozen or so kids in our neighbourhood!! It's a far cry from the 300 and something kids we always had in the city!!! Hubby doesn't mind. This way he gets to have all the goodies that weren't given out!

300 and something kids!!!!!! Wow.

It was Halloween here last night and we had ...... no kids at all at our door.

Halloween is not really celebrated here. The shopkeepers try to promote it by advertising and selling various Halloween gear but it just doesn't catch on at all. In fact there is a resistance to it by many.

I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Hmm I love lollies!

We're giving out Sour Kids, Swedish Berries and Fuzzy Peaches this year.

Wish we lived closer so the kids could go trick or treating at yours!

have a fun halloween! it's 6:30 right now and we haven't had any trick or treaters yet. i've got "candy detail" tonight. my husband is taking tc around the neighborhood tonight.

we're giving out mini chocolate bars and the costco candy mix (lollipops, sweet tarts, tootsie rolls and such). we have some duddy bubble gum for the rude kids who don't say trick or treat, please or thank you (normallhy the older teenagers). i'm so mean. if they're not nice to me, then they get a one tiny crappy piece of candy. let's hope they don't egg our house later that night. ha ha

OMG we had about 120 kids here tonight - in one hour - I ran out of treats so quickly! Last year we only had about 70 or so; they came out in droves this year, probably because it was balmy out.

Your treats sound yummmy! We gave out the nut free chocolates. They're the only things we buy anymore since we started school and daycare for the kidlets. Everything's nut free.

Like your costume :)
