My 900th Post!

I was shocked to see that this is my 900th post since I started blogging in 2006.

A lot has happened since then. I got married. I've been adjusting to life in the country. Not only am I now living in the country, but I'm also living on a farm! I do miss my friends and family in the city sometimes. I also miss traveling. I have been having a blast teaching ESL, so at least I can bring the rest of the world to us! I've been taking a break from teaching ESL since Little One has come into our life.
Life is good. I couldn't possibly ask for anything more.

Cherry, Canine, and everyone else, here are some "before" and "after" shots you asked for. I got quite a bit of hair cut off, got some layers and bangs. This is the shortest I've had my hair, but it's fun and light. Maybe next time I'll try to be a bit more daring and do something more exciting! Trust me, the bangs and few inches cut off were daring enough for me! ;p

C your new hair cut look great!

LOVE the BANGS! I'm going in for a haircut in about 30 minutes. Probably doing more a trim though but that includes making my bangs actual bangs again since they are long enough to be considered a "layer".

Congrats on your 900th post!

Esther:
Thank you! :) I wasn't sure about going with the bangs, but in the end I just closed my eyes and said, "Okay, just do it!" :)

I'm usually a chicken when it comes to cutting my hair. I usually just get it trimmed and nothing too drastic. The one time I did go drastic, I felt like crying. I had Charlie's Angels wings!!!

See you in a few weeks!!! Will you just be here for Easter weekend or a bit longer?

Thank you! You are soooooooooo sweet!!! BTW, those pics of your kitties on FB make me want more kitties! Oh, wait. We DO have more kitties (in the barn)! Our barn cats are doing a good job of keeping unwanted guests away :) The only problem is that they are so cute that I want to keep them ALL...in the house!!! Of course, Hubby won't let me! LOL!

Jinxy:
Thank you! :) It feels a lot lighter. Little One won't be able to grab my hair anymore. For a tiny preemie she sure has a strong grip!!!

Funny how a new haircut can really make you feel a lot different! :)

I took your advice and went with the bangs. I was even contemplating the asymetrical cut. I ALMOST went for Kate's haircut (from Jon and Kate Plus 8), but I'm not that brave...yet!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, Jimbo!!! You had me laughing soooooooooooooo hard when I read your comment!!! Hubby nearly jumped out of his chair! LOL!

Me lub you long time!! Toooooo funny! XOXOXOXO

Thank you so much for that comment :) You are so sweet. I was really shocked to see I had written 900 posts!

I was thinking about your blog the other day and was wondering how many hundreds of posts you have written? Love your blog! XO

Canine:
LOL! OMG, girlfriend!! You are too funny! Thank you! :) Ohhhh and the "saucy" part...love it! LOL! Especially when I think of Robert Pattinson saying it! SAUCCCCCY!!

Okay, he is so yummy!

Louann:
Thanks so much! How are you and the crew doing? Your blog title can read "Four Men and a Lady"! Hmmm...or not! :) Your current title is perfect! The one I suggested can be perceived by some as bordering on XXX rated.

Thank you :) I'm not used to short hair and I think Hubby kind of prefers the long hair. What is it with guys and long hair? :) He hasn't said anything about preferring long to short hair, but I could see it in his reaction. He did say it looked nice though. I wish I could keep the long hair, but with the baby I needed something shorter and a fresh look is always a pick me up :)

Love the fresh new look! Tell hubby hair grows, no worries. But it's VERY stylish and cute. :)

Congratulations on your 900th post. :) You look GREAT, honey.

J:
You're right :) Hair does grow back. I think my hairdresser was shocked (or scared) when I told her I was so fed up with my hair that I just wanted her to shave it all off! LOL! She had a baby 6 months ago, so she probably figured it was post-pregnancy hormones talking! ;p

Word ver: viagrow
HAHA! viagra + grow. Okay, someone's having way too much fun with word verifications!

Canine:
I know what you mean, you saucy little tart! ;) XOXO You are sauccccccccccccy! Imagine that in Rob's voice! ;p

When I was younger, I used to LOVE guys with long hair! There was something earthy, natural, and romantic about guys with long hair.

Great. After reading your comment, I have the song "Whip it! Whip it real good" in my head! Gah.

Still laughing at Jimmy's comment. I've been walking around all day saying "Me lub you long time" and laughing. I think Hubby thinks I'm nuts.

Thank you, my lovely! I'm off to see what you're up to. You and I are like the country mouse and the city mouse now. You with all the glitzy big city nightlife and moi with the baby, living on a farm on an island. Funny how that turned out, eh? Well, not your part. I always knew you would be living in a totally happenin' city with lots of entertainment and art to fuel your many talents. I didn't expect to be living on a farm! :) XOXO

I go to Island Styles in Mindemoya. Julie and Amanda are AMAZING!!! I highly recommend them. Now I don't have to go off-island to get my hair done! :)
