In Honour of our dear friend, @Gingermommy {Thankful Friends Flash Giveaway}
Every now and then, there are people in our lifetime who enter our lives and forever change our lives forever. They leave an imprint in our hearts by the kindness they display or the help they offer. They go beyond the call of duty and enrich our lives with the mere act of being part of our lives.
I am happy to say that Gingermommy is one of these people.
Over the past two years, she has been a huge support and has become a very good friend. I began blogging a few years ago, but I wasn't a serious blogger. My blog was just a chronicle of my new life on "the Island" as a farmer's wife and a Mom to a preemie. It was about two years ago that I began getting more involved in the social media part of things and began doing more and more product reviews and brand promoting.
Being a "newbie" to all of this, I didn't really know the ins and outs of the PR world. Gingermommy took me under her wing and helped me a lot over the past two years. She offered tips, opps, encouragement, support...and it wasn't strictly about blogging.
Gingermommy has been there through the personal highs and lows, births and deaths, and so on. When my grandmother was in the ICU in the Philippines, Gingermommy called me. When my grandmother passed away last month, Gingermommy was there to listen and offer comforting words. I know I've found a lifelong friend in her and I truly appreciate her for all that she has done.
She's a fantastic friend and also a valued contributor to the social media world. She can often times be found as the liaison between brands and bloggers, and she does such a fabulous job at it.
This shout out's for you, Gingermommy! Thank you for all that you do.
In honour of Gingermommy's contributions to the blogging community (as well as in honour of her friendship), we are having a flash giveaway with the prize being $120 USD via PayPal! To win, enter the Rafflecopter form below.

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Gingermommy has helped me along so much since I started blogging 4 months ago, that I would probably not be blogging anymore had I not met her!
Way to go, you totally deserve it!!
Chris
No offense to any other blogger who has helped and/or supported me along the way (and there are quite a few), but Gingermommy is definitely the stand-out chick that has been at the forefront of the pack. She is an amazing woman, extremely supportive, extremely loving. It's nice to know we have someone looking out for us. Thanks Gingermommy <3
same here - she has shared so much with the group, and provided such great info! Thanks Gingermommy!
Me three! She's been so supportive and helpful of me as I have been getting started, it's been fantastic! She deserves this recognition!

GingerMommy really does go the extra mile!
Though I'm not entering this giveaway (no paypal), I'd just like to comment how fitting & touching it is to hear your kind words for a fellow blogger. What a wonderful community!
very nice thing to do!
Aww, Kim is definitely a special person. Real. Genuine and kind. Thanks for posting this C, Gingermommy rocks my socks.
thank you everyone for your wonderful comments
Gingermommy works so hard to help all of us - I am not entirely sure when she sleeps or gets her own work done! Thank you!
I think there's a huge amount of us who have Gingermommy to thank, I know I do. She has been so supportive and helpful to those of us who haven't been in the blogging world working with companies. I seriously can't wait to have drinks and chat with her and you!
This was fun, it makes me want to "Do It."
