About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

i think that looks like a lot of fun too!
Too cute! My son would be all over that pile of gravel too!
MVTB:
Okay, you got me! I climbed up the pile of gravel and hung out w/ Little One too! Couldn't resist! It was too much fun!
Nicole:
I guess mountains of gravel and mountains of sand are things kids just cannot resist! :)
Ah, the gravel pile. And the straw pile. And the barn bridge hill. Oh, just the dirt everywhere...:)
ummm, no. I think ANY kiddo would LOVE this!!!
my kids would totally love that :)
OHM:
I believe you are right! ;)
Tara:
Come on over! We just got a few loads dumped on the farm. ;) Little One is in Heaven. She thinks it's the greatest!
I remember doing this as a kid! Where have all the gravel piles gone? LOL
Sure, looks safer than some of the stuff we played on. Is that her boot sitting on top of the pile, lol. Where's Chance in all this?
I'm pretty sure that's not just a farm kid problem! (But she sure looks VERY happy!)
My boys love piles! So fun! :)
Kathryn:
LOL! That's a good question! Oh, wait! I know! They're on our farm! LOL! ;) Hubs needed the gravel for our lane way and for drainage.
jMo:
Ha! :) Really? Well, now that you mention it, that doesn't surprise me! ;) Chance was playing there too. You can see him in the background in one of the photos. With his new haircut, he looks like Tramp from "Lady and the Tramp"!
Lisa Marie:
LOL! I think you're right! :)
Love when they EXPLORE! Country living @ it's best!
Oh, the fun you can have with a pile of gravel!!! Love it!
These are gorgeous pictures!
When I'm home this summer I'll look for the pictures of my brother and I doing the same thing when we were little :) I loved it when we got loads of gravel or soil delivered!
Aww, it looks like one of those poodle lamb cuts.
