It's almost that time of the year again...

Is it just me or does it feel like the holiday season is just around the corner? I can't believe how fast time flies! Stores are all putting up their holiday decorations and all the specials are on already. Crazy!

I've already started some of my Christmas baking (I know...I'm crazy). I also needed a bunch of little gifts for people we see every now and then (like the mail delivery lady, the ladies at the post office, friends from church, etc, etc, etc). To save time this year, I've done a little bit of cheating. I've used the help of Kraft Canada Kitchen's useful tips for Holiday treats.

Here's what's on my list of pressies to give out to our favorite people during the holidays. (Okay, I admit, I simply cannot bring myself to use pre-made mixes or boxed stuff...so I've substituted them with my own homemade baking, but used the decorating ideas from the Kraft website)

For those of you who don't have too much time to do your baking and are at a loss of neat, easy, economical, personal gift ideas for your kids' teachers or babysitters, your officemates, friends (or whoever!), check these out:

I'm also making Chocolate Cranberry Biscotti , Chocolate Cookie Bark and Hanukkah Sugar Cookies .

Crap! I just bought a gorgeous basket of imported coffees, teas, and some biscotti and chocolate bark for my kids' teachers! I wish I had gotten these recipes earlier, Chrissy! ARRR! I thought I was being smart buying all the presents before the rush in December! It's nice seeing you back, T!

Can you believe I already have Snowflake's presents wrapped?! Thanks for the holiday wishes. I'm having my annual Christmas parade party on Friday, why doncha skeedaddle down for a few?! ;)

Christmas parade party on Friday! Sounds like fun!!! Oh, and you've got Snowflake's pressies all wrapped already? Wow! That's awesome stuff! What did you get him? I can't remember! He's such a cutie! Does he prefer the gifts or the boxes the gifts come in? My friend's daughter is 3 and just loves this huge box her doll house came in! Forget the doll house! LOL! She made this fort out of the box. My friend even cut windows in it and glued different colored tissue paper over the holes to have that "stained glass" look for her kid's fort! LOL Too cute! Now my friend has to crawl into the box with her daughter, read story books in there and eat Oreo cookies with milk there! :)

OMG Christine! I just bought a little box of peppermint candy cane/ white chocolate bark for my Secret Santa gift for $12.00! Are you telling me I could have made it for half the price?!

In case you're wondering why I got my Secret Santa gift for work already amd we haven't even chosen names yet because we're still in November, it's because I'm slightly anal and need to do things way in advance!
