BlogHer $100 Question: What's Your Craziest Mommy Brain Moment?
I make it no secret to anyone that I suffer from Mommy Brain/Momnesia every now and then on a semi-regular basis. Okay, who am I kidding? I suffer from it every day.
As an English teacher, I pride myself on being a grammar guru. This said, I've gone from Grammar Queen to Don't-Know-How-To-Spell-Easy-Words girl. It is so frustrating!
It appears that there's a correlation between the busier and more active my little one gets and the less hours of sleep I get. This is directly responsible for my Momnesia. At least I like to tell myself that! Even the most obvious things don't seem so obvious anymore! My friends and family get a good laugh at my Mommy mishaps.
I get so unbelievably forgetful and absentminded and it really frustrates me. I'm not sure if I can name my craziest Mommy Brain Moment...because there are too many of them! Oh, alright! I guess THIS would have to be my craziest Mommy Brain Moment!!!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Forgetting my groceries at the store is up there with paying $1700 to hydro instead of $170.

Me: "You're tired and in a bad mood."
E: "I'm not in a bad mood! I'm tired and in a good mood trying to explain to you why I'm in a bad mood."
Stephen: HAHAHA! Oh, I think THAT deserves the $100 prize!
Oh, and the fact that you even dared to tell a pregnant woman that she's tired and in a bad mood...Very ballsy, my friend! LOL! :) Miss you guys!! Got something for your mini muffin and will mail it to you ASAP. XOXOX
