Wholly Guac and Beanitos Make the Perfect Team #CANsnack
This is somewhat of an unorthodox post. As you may all know, my wife Christine (author of this blog) is currently out of the country. She is with her grandmother in the Philippines, since "Lola" is in Intensive Care. Since C doesn't like letting anyone down and has said she'd participate in the Wholly Guacamole and Beanitos Blog tour, she is fulfilling her word. She has asked ME to write my very first review. Readers, please be kind. I have never written a product review before.
We received a HUGE box of Beanitos chips. Multiple bags of each flavor. Poor wife is sad she is on the other side of the world and cannot sample the chips until she returns to Canada! Her priority now is her grandmother though. I had our summer student help sample the chips and we both said we'd buy these in the store. They are good! All the great taste of snack food, but with a healthy twist. Natural, healthy ingredients, gluten free and all that other good stuff.
We also received a nice package from Wholly Guacamole.
You already know how much our family loves Wholly Guacamole. Our little one is our little "guac monster". Chips and guac = our fave snack food! My wife has blogged numerous times about how Little One was saying "I YUV GA-KA-MO-YEE!" when she was 2 years old!
The Wholly Guac pack included a Wholly Guac bag, coupons for FREE Wholly Guac products (4), a chip clip, a bracelet, recipe card, info/literature, and a replica of an avocado. I'm pretty sure Little One is going to swipe the avocado and use it in her toy kitchen when she comes home from the Philippines!
With my wife and 3 year old out of the country, and me with a review to write, our summer student and I had the pleasure of taste testing everything ourselves!
All four Beanitos flavors are good! TheStudent liked the Pinto Bean & Flax and the Black Bean Chips Chipotle BBQ. I liked the Pito Bean & Flax Chips, Cheddar Cheese and Pinto Bean & Flax. The chips were surprisingly good. I say surprisingly, because as my wife always says, I have an aversion to beans. Bean chips? I like! They were a bit saltier than I expected though, but very good. I would buy them for sure.
Beanitos and Wholly Guacamole make the perfect snack food team. I could eat this all the time! I was thinking of being creative and coming up with a fancy recipe or something, but to be honest, the Beanitos and Wholly Guac are too delicious on their own and I wouldn't want to mess with perfection.

You did an amazing job, standing in for C in her absence.
I've never heard of those chips...I wonder if we get them in the U.S.? I'm going to keep my eyes open, because while I'm not a sweet person, I am a salty chip person. Yum.
Wholly guacamole, I adore. I buy the single serving size packs, because often I'm the only one eating, and it goes down well. I love them on chips, or veggies, or on skirt steak fajitas. (I had to throw in the skirt steak for you, since you have the beef cows and all...and that's my FAVORITE fajita).

I eat Wholly Guacamole all the time especially the Spicy 100 calorie packs. My Wal-Mart does not sell the Wholly salsa or I would also buy it.

So excited Beanitos have come to Canada!!!! I hae super huge food allergies and I can't wait to finally have chips again. It's been 15 years!
