About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

what wonderful adventures!
Oh wow, it looks like you had a beautiful trip! Love the picture of your daughter looking out the window of the plane; I STILL do that! lol
Tara:
Thank you :) It *was* quite the adventure! Though Little One is only 3, I think this is possibly one of the greatest gifts we were able to give her...to explore the world and new cultures!
Love the variety of photos. Many memories for your little one. {hugs}
Thanks for the linky :)
Kat:
It was indeed beautiful. Well, the time not spent in the hospital with grandma was a joyful time. I wonder what Little One was thinking as she peered out the airplane window? Interesting to think about what goes on in the minds of 3 year olds!
Mommy Moment:
Thanks!! There were so many things to take photos of while we were in the Philippines. Still, photos cannot seem to do the experience as a whole any justice!
Oh, I love the pearls!
Jen:
Me too!!! I was never really a pearl kinda girl, but when I was in the Philippines I picked some up for a friend (at her request) and ended up getting some for myself too! They are SO cheap in the Philippines. I had no idea that the Philippines is famous for their pearls! Love them!!!
Wow - neat pics. I REALLY love the pic of your daughter and the window! So pretty! :)
Thanks for sharing! :)
Lisa Marie:
Awww! Thanks so much!! It was kind of neat seeing her look out the window. I seriously wonder what was going on in her mind seeing us fly through the clouds like that! :)
That looks like so much fun..and oh so warm...so warm and glorious :)
I adore that picture of little one looking out the plane window! that is gorgeous!
Kimberly:
Warm...It was 40 degrees the entire time! :) LOL! I was dying of heat! ;) Clearly, I'm not made for extreme heat! LOL!
MVTB:
:) Thank you so much! She was so cute! So fascinated by everything! I was shocked at how well she did on those long flights!!
Great pictures! I love the one looking out the plane window - so sweet!
Looks like so much fun! Great pics!
These are grrreat photos, C. Are you framing any?
You've encouraged me to put up some of my fav photos from a really cool farm art tour.

Thanks so much! Headed over to your site and left a comment! I'm now your newest follower too :)
Canadian Dad:
I'm really glad I was able to bring my daughter to the Philippines. I had traveled to over 11 countries, 20 something US states, only 4 Cdn provinces by the time I was 25. I really want my daughter to be able to experience the world like I did and sort of got worried about that since my husband is a farmer. Owning a farm = no holidays or vacations. :(
