Happiness is…

1) Spending time with Hubby, just the two of us :)
2) Going for walks in the woods and sharing a quiet moment with the deer
3) Listening to my sleeping puppy as he snores
4) Watching the kittens chase each other around the house and playfully attack each other
5) Spending time with my family (especially at Christmas)
6) The wood stove heating the house and a mug of hot chocolate in hand
7) A warm bowl of soup on a cold day
8) Sunshine and fresh air
9) Being with my close friends
10) Quiet moments to just think and appreciate how good life is

very sweet Chris. For me happiness is watching my kids sleep or hearing their laughter. Happiness is also time spent alone with my husband, which there isn't much of at all! Thanks for this sweet post.

Shucks. I miss Canada so much with this post of yours. Are you freezing yet? Kidding.

About the Blog Author

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
