Indulge your senses

My friend at Our Manitoulin has introduced me to the wonderful world of Watkins. Forgive me, but I absolutely had to post about this stuff. The products are first rate and very reasonably priced. The following are some of the items I'm adding to my "must have" list:

Every girl needs some really good cinnamon in her pantry! At $6.99 Cdn a tin, how can you possibly go wrong?

Some of you may recall me mentioning that Hubby's and my niece has food allergies. Apparently, she can have the black pepper from Watkins because it's so pure and has no other fillers. Yay, Watkins!! When I cook for Toad and Pook, I can't use regular store bought stuff because all the additives.

I would really, really love to get me some of this Lemon Creme Body butter, but I noticed that it contains nut products. Phooooey!! Hmmm...would it be very bad and irresponsible if I got some and only used it when our nieces aren't around???

My MIL actually told me that she and my SIL have used the toilet bowl cleaner from Watkins and they both swear that nuthin' gets their toilet bowls cleaner than this stuff. No lie! (Seriously, these ladies never lie!!!!)

Anyway, take a peek and see what Watkins has got. There's a US catalogue for any American readers out there.

I SWEAR I DIDN'T PUT HER UP TO THIS! I hope that Gloria and I finally get to meet you at the Snowflake Fair in Mindemoya on the 2nd. We'll even have some vanilla extract and other stuff there along with free samples of chicken soup base for Dylon and everyone else for as long as it lasts. Seriously though, THANKS FOR THE PLUG Christine!

LOL!! Yes, it's true! He didn't put me up to this! I just got so excited about the products! Oh! I got the catalogue in the mail today! Thank you ever so much! The funny thing is that I had the cinnamon and black pepper on my "must have" list, and you sent me samples of both! How funny is that!?! Cheers again and see you on the 2nd!

Yes! I will definitely be at the Snowflake Fair on the 2nd (unless it’s a blizzard!) I will dig around for my Bad Girl’s guide in the meantime!

Thanks, Dylon! I've got Pillars of the Earth on my desk here so I don't forget to bring it to the Snowflake Fair. Anything else on my Shelfari you'd be interested in borrowing? I know my reading selections are pretty ecclectic. My tastes ranger from the classics, to new age stuff, children's books, and all kinds of other treasures.

Chrissy, the cooking spray is amazing. It's sort of like PAM but it lasts a lot longer. I go through one can of it in the time I'd go through 2 cans of PAM. It's more expensive, but like I say, it lasts longer. The vanilla extract is to die for, by the way.

Can you buy these products at the grocery stores or are they only sold online?

Cool! I've got anonymous posters! Anyway, Anon, you can buy Watkins products online or through their catalogue. If you visit ROAR!'s blog, he has a link for the Watkins site.

The products are not generally available through stores although a limited amount 'may' be sold under special arrangements. Anonymous, and everyone else, can view a small assortment at www.wikyinfo.com or go directly to www.watkinsonline.com for the full line.

I do have a request though. If you go directly to the Watkins site don’t forget to give them our Independent Associate ID#369469 when asked. This helps us keep on top of how effective our sites and advertising are and as well it will allow us to provide you with better and more customized service in the future. And yes, it helps us get our commission as well!

We place orders 2 or 3 times a month and if you e-mail me your requirements we can probably save you some shipping charges by pooling your order with others. If you live on Manitoulin I may be able to deliver to your door and drop off the newest catalogue at the same time.

Anonymous... drop me an e-mail at murray@ourmanitoulin.com and I will get a catalogue to you.

Now, Christine… how much do I owe you for the advertising space!

LOL! No worries, M! I just posted the products on my blog because I LOVE them! I've used the black pepper sample you sent me and it's soooo good! I know it's "just" pepper, but it's fantastic! My nieces are able to have it and that's amazing because they are so limited in what they can have in the way of food. Watkins Co should be proud that certain products are okay for Celiac patients! :)
