Some things I'd like to share with you
One of my new favourite blogs is Rowing and Sowing. I had first heard of Rowing and Sowing via Jimmy's blog. Rowing and Sowing is a beautiful blog with stunning photographs and the most thoughtful writing.
Another website I think you should visit is my friend, Josh's site. Josh and I taught in Japan together almost a decade ago. He is a fantastic artist and is full of creativity. His website highlights the art of Joshua Best. Check it out :)
Josh isn't the only multi-talented person in his family. His mother, Sherry is a singer/songwriter. When I was living and working in Japan, my grandfather died and then one of my uncles died. I was so far from Canada, home, family and friends, that I began to get a little homesick. Other things happened that made me miss home, but Josh gave me a copy of his mom's CD and the songs on her CD somehow helped me through some tough times.
Sherry's got another CD out, Leap and the Net Will Appear. I haven't bought it yet, but it's on my list! I've listened to the music clips and just fell in love with the songs.
I may sound like the biggest groupie ever, but I really do love Josh's mom's music!

Sherry's lyrics and beautiful voice are very special. I had the opportunity to have supper with Josh, his mom and his dad when I went on my Kansas-Missouri-Pennsylvania-New Jersey-New York trip in 2002. Sherry is truly one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. She shines from inside and out. I'm not kidding you. There's a gentle beauty about her that radiates.
Pick up Sherry's CD, On a Planet Where it Rains and tell me how much you love it ;)Sherry's lyrics and beautiful voice are very special. About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Oh how very kind of you - thank you so much! And likewise, I've truly enjoyed looking at your very interesting world through your eyes!
I checked out your friend's mom's CD (the clips on CDBaby.) How beautiful! Her voice, the lyrics, the guitar.... (I've got it pulled up now, and I'll definitely be listening to it again - many more times!)
Have a great evening and weekend.
