Introducing...
our nephew, Kenneth Griffey Franklin Thomas Lee. He was born on March 16th, 2007 and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. (My brother wanted to name his first born after his favourite baseball player)
These last photos were taken of little Kenny going home from the hospital. It's amazing how much he's changed already in just one day! What a cute little face!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

He's so cute!
Hi everyone! Thanks...he is really sweet. My sister-in-law had some complications but hopefully all is well. The funny thing is that our little nephew looks so much like my youngest brother when he was a baby! LOL! Weird!
Awww, contrats Auntie! Beautiful baby boy.
Congratulations Auntie Christine!!
He is just lovely - yay for baby boys!
j
He's very cute, Chris!
Congrats!
Congratulations! He is adorable!
Awwwwwh, my first glimpse at a newborn baby blogger (well, not yet anyway).
CONGRATULATIONS CHRISSY! Oh my gosh, he's so cute. Looks so healthy too!! You must be so proud!

anniem:
Thanks! We've got two nieces, so we're excited about having a little nephew! Too cute!
miss moneypenny:
YOU'RE BACK!!! Yay! :) So, did you go on that trip with your sis? Oh, right--this is about the baby...LOL! Yes, he's sweet. I can't wait to meet him. I'm trying to hold off a bit before I go visit them in Kingston. I'd like to give my brother and his wife some time to bond with the baby, spend time together...I know it was an emotional time and very exciting. I am trying not to be selfish, because I am a baby hog! (errr...not as in the animal though. You know what I mean)LOL! Can't wait to hold my little nephew!
t:
Thanks, girlfriend!
Canine:
Gracias, amiga! BTW, I love your Texas pics!
GM: Thank you. I just love those chubby cheeks!!!
JR:
Awww...that would be cool! A little blogger!! LOL! I must get my brother and his wife to set up a blog for the little one! :)
Curiosity:
He is a healthy little guy. Do you think he looks more Asian than Caucasian? My parents said that his hair has a reddish tint in the light. My sister-in-law has strawberry blonde hair. I know babies change in appearance almost every day when they're young. I wonder what this little guy's going to look like. He's so sweet :) Can you tell I'm the gushing auntie?? I can only imagine what my brother and his wife are feeling now! LOL!
Lisa:
I will pass on the message :) Hey, I want to see more pics and hear more updates of YOUR little one!!!
Oh, he is just precious, Christine! Congrats!
And I hope all is well with your sister-in-law, too.
Hey, little guy! Do you like baseball? No pressure.
wow!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing him with us! He's beautiful...
Oh the reddish brown hair, the charlie brown cheeks, and the drooling is so Canadian all the way.
LOL -- he's darn cute. Is his mom doing alright?
Oh my gosh, that picture of him in the baseball mitt is just too much to take! I'm due with my 3rd boy in less than 3 weeks now, and I just have to get a picture of him like that when he gets here!

Doggy Mama:
My sister-in-law is doing well. I spoke to her mother the other day. The actual birth was alright, but the afterbirth was where the complications were. Apparently she is doing well now though. I'm so excited that we have our first little nephew! I see you're going to have a third nephew soon too!
Diesel:
LOL! I was thinking that too! I hope he likes baseball when he gets older :)
Pavel:
Thank you for your kind post. I always look forward to your comments!
Curiosity:
LOL! I love that! The Charlie Brown cheeks and the drool!!! That's exactly what I thought! He is so sweet. Don't you just wanna hug him? LOL!
Fab:
Thanks! BTW...I swear, one of these days I am going to get to listen to your show!!! I am such a horrible, horrible Mr.Fab fan :(
Audrey:
Congrats! WOW! Three weeks until your little one comes! How exciting! Have you picked out a name for him already?
PS. I think the baseball mitt pic is cute too!
hi chrissy! Kenny's just adorable... at the rate that he's going, he's probably going to make his family's life a little bit more exciting than usual.
Kim:
Thanks, Kimmie! My sister-in-law sent more pics and he has changed so much in only a few days!!! Ahhhhh...too cute!
I'm late, but congrats, none the less!
delicious!!
Ms. Mamma: Gracias, amiga! You're too sweet :)
Dina: I know!!! I just want to kiss those cheeks of his! LOL!
My congratulations to your brother, his wife and the rest of the family. I knew there would be something exciting waiting for me as soon as I revisit your site!
The baby is simply adorable. Who knows...perhaps he will be a baseball slugger in due time just like the players your brother named him after.
Sentimental:
Thanks for your comment. I always look forward to seeing what you've written! Your comments totally make my day :)
Thanks, Christine. It's hard not to leave comments on your blog...it's addictive!
Bet your parents are super thrilled now that they have a grandchild. Dad and Mom are pushing me to get married mainly because they want to be grandpa and grandma before they get too old, they said. I still have cold feet for this type of commitment but definitely one day when I get my gears into prospective, I'll join your "club". :)
Sentimental:
I actually didn't think I was going to get married when I did. I was with someone for the longest time and he was not the right person for so many reasons. When that ended, I didn't think I'd ever find "the one". I was upset and down about it for a while, until I realized how much I loved being single!!! I loved everything about my new found life and all the excitement and being able to do my "own thing". It was shortly after I had found complete happiness with myself that I met my husband through mutual contacts of ours. Being married to J just felt so natural and like nothing was taken away from me in the way of freedom. Everything just fell together so beautifully and naturally. In fact, being with J has enhanced my life. Hubby, I hope you're reading this! LOL! ;)
My parents are super excited to have become grandparents. My brother's baby is the first grandchild in the family and the first great-grandchild for my grandmother. I hope that soon there will be more babies for everyone to go ga-ga over!! :)
