Dear Kenny,
I am your Auntie C. I know we haven't met yet and I promise I'll get over there to meet you soon. I just wanted you to know how happy you have made all of us. I cried when I got the phone call that you were finally born. I am so very happy for your mommy and daddy. You are the first grandchild on both sides of your family and the first great-grandchild on your dad's side. Everyone loves you so much and you are only four days old!
You are a sweet baby, and I have fallen in love with those cute cheeks of yours! It's amazing how a little baby can change the lives of everyone around him/her. You coming into the world just makes me realize more and more how beautiful life is. I'm sad that you never got the chance to meet your great-grandfathers, as they were both wonderful, kind men. Whenever I think of them, I remember the good times when we were very young and they used to spoil us and play with us. I'm also sad you never had a chance to meet your Tita Zen before she died. You would have loved her!
As I get older, I see how short life is and how every generation has so much to pass onto the next. I just want to let you know that your Uncle J and I will always be here for you whenever you need us. We love you and your mom and dad so much. I can't wait to see you grow and change and develop a character of your own.
See you soon :)
Auntie C (but your dad wants you to call me Tita Tin-Tin...you don't have to call me that though. Seriously!)
PRECIOUS!!!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

He's too cute! Good thing he didn't knock off your sister in law's glass of milk. What a candid shot of her!
By the way...that was a very heartwarming message you posted for your nephew. He's lucky to have Tita Tin-tin around. :)
so so so so so so so so cute!! And Elisha looks great too!
Aww. He looks like a cute little baby alien.
You're so sweet Chris. You nephew is so lucky to have an auntie that loves him so much. You are going to make a great mom someday soon too.
Sentimental:
Thanks :) He is adorable. I can't stop looking at all the pics my brother and his wife have been e-mailing us! My SIL is such a trooper. I love that girl!
T:
Yep! I agree!!!

LOL! :) My husband said that sci-fi movies got the idea of the "cone head" from babies when they are first born. He said that babies tend to resemble aliens when they are born. I'm wondering if he's trying to pull my leg or if he is really serious! LOL!
Anonymous:
Thank you! That was really sweet of you to say!
PS. I don't know if you guys noticed how his head was kinda cone shaped when he was born. That was from the pushing and the birthing process. It's gone down a lot in the past few days and he's got the cutest, roundest, sweetest little face!!! I just LOVE that little guy!!! Okay...I'll stop gushing now. I promise! LOL!
I agree with Chrissy. He is the cutest little thing ever.
I knew about the coneheads. It's freaky if you ask me, this giving birth thing.
This letter would work beautifully... until he hits the age of 7. And you'll have to stop mentioning those adorable chubby cheeks on his 10th birthday.
LOL Or just turn into one of those aunts who would fawn all over their nephew -- when they are in their 20's... LOL
T:
LOL! Thank you! I always love it when people agree with me! ;)
CK:
OMG!!!! Poor kid...I'm so going to be one of those aunties that fawn over their nieces and nephews when they're 20!! Ahhh! Yikes...I all of a sudden feel very, VERY old! LOL!
What a sweet letter! Be sure to share this with him when he is older! You are already such a great Auntie!!
aawwwwwww...... isn't he adorable? i'm sure tita tin tin/aunt C will spoil him to death! Congrats!
hope we'll get to read a letter from you soon, this time for your own baby! :)
regards!
How lucky he is to have such a super Auntie! It is clear that you will have a special relationship with him.
Thank you for the comment on our blog (and particularly, my latest post)!
