What's Your Burger Personality? #LoveCDNBeef

Summer is definitely here.  The sound of children laughing, hot weather, the sunshine, the blue skies, and the not wanting to have to slave over a hot oven or stove...that's what Summer is!

It's time to rev up the BBQ and toss some burgers on the grill!  At our home, I'm more of a "Why don't I chop up some oregano or basil and fill our burgers with feta cheese!?!" gal while my husband is more of a  "Meat. I like meat. Just meat. Maybe mustard or ketchup. Meat!" kind of guy.

It's true. I love coming up with neat and not-yo-standard burger ideas.  I've made Kimchi burgers (burgers topped with spicy Korean pickled cabbage), Teriyaki burgers, to burgers with grilled veg on top. Mmmm! Roasted red peppers are a favourite of mine. I also love sauteed onion piled on top too.

Like I said,  Hubby is more of a classic, old school type of burger lover. He loves a succulent beef patty and minimal fixings.  If he's in the mood, he'll go with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and a few condiments. Really, nothing fancy. Just simple down home cookin'.

The thing with burgers is that the options are limitless! You can dress a burger up (or down!) however you please. I guess the big question is...
WHAT'S YOUR BURGER PERSONALITY?

If you head over to the Canadian Beef Facebook page, you can find out what your burger personality is. It came to no surprise when I discovered I'm a Californian with a dash of Gourmet.
