Wordless Wednesday - Dinner & A Book

On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers all over the world post a photograph with no words or explanation of the photo on their blog. Hence the title ‘Wordless Wednesday’. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it doesn’t need any description. However, today's post isn't so wordless.

The above photos were taken at the Dinner & A Book event at the Garden Shed Cafe on Manitoulin Island. I was fortunate enough to attend this wonderful book signing and reading, and chat with one of my favourite people - New York author, Bonnie Kogos

"Experience Manitoulin Island through author, Bonnie Kogos’ eyes as she takes character, Lily Gardner through a whirl wind of love, sex, adventure & conflict."

Bonnie's sense of humour and amazing ability to tell stories simply draw in her audience.

Want to hear something cool? The audience was filled with a few other Canadian celebs including artists and musicians. One some of you may know is Canadian singer, Jane Siberry.

Feel free to link up your Wordless Wednesday posts! We love checking them out and commenting!

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
