Babies

Did you notice that people who don't have children tend to talk about their pets as though they were their children? I say this from experience. I catch myself doing it all the time. Hey, I used to even carry photos of my baby Chance in my wallet and flaunt them for all to see. I kid you not- when I was teaching in Toronto, my co-worker would show me the cutest photos of her two year old daughter and I in turn showed her photos of my adorable little mutt!

Seems like everyone I know is having babies now. I am soooooooo excited for all the mommies and daddies-to-be! You're all going to be amazing parents. Please keep those updates, blogs, and photos from ultrasounds coming!

For now, here are a few photos of our babies! From oldest to youngest: Chloe, Boswell and Chance. They're all so precious, aren't they???

Chloe: she's a sweetie. She's getting quite old now and the little girl in me hopes she never dies. I swear, if/when any of my pets die, I am never getting another pet because losing them is too hard to bear!!!

Boswell: the newest member of the family, but he's up there in age as well. He's a cutie, but he can be a little demon when he wants to be. Usually he listens, but at night time when he's outside, he's a totally different animal. He's got a mind of his own and will run away! But's he's so cute, don't ya think?

Chance: at 3 years of age (in human years!), Chance is the baby in the family. He's very sweet and friendly. He's still a very playful boy. He knows his spot in the pecking order, and though he's the biggest of all the fur balls, he knows that Chloe and Boswell can and will kick his butt if he doesn't succumb to them. Poor thing. I honestly don't know what I'd do without Chance. He's a dream dog and very protective of me. He will never stray, as he needs to make sure I'm in his sight at all times. Too cute!

Awww! I remember when Chance was just a tiny little thing! Remember you used to put him in your jacket and he'd sleep while you were on the subway? You took him everywhere! Now look at how big he is!

I remember how small he was when you first got him, He fit into the palm of your hand, he was so small! Pets are cute. As you know we have a zoo of our own with two dogs and two cats! Your so right about people without kids and their pets! Funny!

LOL yeah we used to do that. Then we had a baby and now our dogs are actually just dogs. I feel kinda bad for them now!
