Two months to go...

Wedding planning can be a lot of fun, but there's a certain level of stress in wanting everything to run smoothly and perfectly. So far things are in order. We still have a few odds and ends to tie up before the big day, but for the most part, all is well.

Cake- to be created by the amazing Rose Diebolt, owner of the Garden's Gate Restaurant.

Ceremony- to be officiated by J's pastor on the beach at Carter's Bay.

Reception- to be held at the Manitowanning Curling Club (next to the golf and country club).

Wedding dress- simple yet classy (you'll see it on the wedding day!)

Bridesmaids and maid of honor dresses- champagne color, Chinese motif (in honor of my father's heritage)

Groomsmen- black tuxes with champagne ties

Flower girl and ring bearer outfits to match the rest of the bridal party. Toooo cute!

I asked J this morning if he was getting nervous. He laughed and said, "Of course not". With little over two months to go, I'm not feeling nervous. Perhaps a little anxious, but mostly excited. I can't wait to be J's wife :)

About the Blog Author

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
