New Moon! New Moon! New Moon!
While I was on hospital bed rest for the last bit of my very brief pregnancy last year, my friends were thoughtful enough to not only recommend, but send me the Twilight books. I devoured each and every book in the series in less than a week!
Little One was in the NICU for the first 2 months of her life. I spent most of my days and nights at the hospital with my baby girl. I didn't even think of "taking a night off". I wanted to be with my daughter all the time. I cried every time I had to leave the hospital so I could go to my aunt's house to sleep. I needed to be with my little preemie.
When Twilight (the movie for the first book) came out, one of my gal pals told me I needed to get out for the evening. She humoured me and agreed to see it with me. It was my first time doing something for me and breaking my routine of wake up-pump-commute-hospital-baby-pump-lunch-baby-pump-baby-commute-supper-sleep-do everything all over again.
In but a few short days, New Moon will be coming out and we already have our tickets!!! I can't wait!

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

hi c! i've got my tickets for next friday! and yes, i'm taking the day off to watch it with my Gay Boyfriend (whom I watched "Twilight" with last year)!
and tix for Sat and Sunday too (with diff't people).
diff't director, better budget better special effects and cute werewolves (except Taylor since he's not legal)
plus no ridiculous white makeup on the cullens...
and yes, delicious Rpattz!
CC:
HA! I noticed that the Cullens didn't look as white/pale! LOL! Weird. Oh, and I don't know about the wolves. I really envisioned them being bigger than what I saw in the trailer. From the descriptions in the books, I guess I kind of imagined them looking huge. I can't wait to see New Moon though! I am sooooo excited!
WOW! I'm jealous that you're seeing it 3x in a row! :)
hi c - actually, they redid the wolves from the very first trailer (when it just looked like a mean dog). the wolves are really huge and fierce looking.
i believe they have a new makeup artist for this movie. much better job. rob's not wearing lipstick this time. ha ha.
i have a new moon postcard in my office and it almost always catches the attention of my twi-obsessed students (even a few tw-boys). most of the high school girls are into Taylor Lautner (well he IS a teenager and therefore more "accessible"); plus he's buff too. ha ha.
anyways, can't wait to see the movie. it should be way better than the first one (which seems terrible by comparison).
word ver:
ganeve
i'm so going to see this with some of the girls this friday too. robert pattinson is so so hot! if you were still in the t dot you could have come with! dinner, drinkies, and the cullen boys! mmmm mmmm good!
Team Jacob.
I'm pretty excited too! I just finally finished the series last week. I was going to try and get midnight tix for Thursday for me and aut...it's probaby sold out. But I'm checking anyway!
I got my tickets today for Friday's show. Best of all, it's my birthday on Friday too!!! I can't wait!!!
CC:
They redid the wolves? Cool! Hey, only two more sleeps until the movie comes out!
You know, as terrible as the first movie was, it was so terrible that it was good! Does that make sense? It was on TV again this week and while I was trying to put Little One down for a nap, I watched it...AGAIN. LOL! It's so bad, it's good!
HM:
I know! I wish I miss movie nights with you!
Humps:
Oh no, you diin't! ;) You just said Team Jacob!!!
AM:
Too cool! Autumn's got the coolest mom ever!
Just a Girl:
Awesome!!! What a great way to celebrate your birthday!!! :)
eeeee!!!! I know! I can't wait to see it this weekend! I can't believe it's been a year since the first Twilight and the Little One being born.
