NaBloPoMo Day 14: Things Change

Just like that, in a flash...things change.

Suddenly, the fact that your toddler peed on the floor and not in the potty for the third time this morning or the fact that your clean laundry hasn't been put away yet don't seem to matter so much.

The unfinished basement that was supposed to be completed three years ago or the lack of storage space in your house don't matter.

The constant cleaning up after a toddler and husband don't upset you so much anymore.

Deadlines and work take the backseat.

You have a family member hours away who is fighting for his life.

Suddenly all your daily problems seem so petty and insignificant.

Thoughts and prayers for one of our loved ones would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

Thanks so much. He's doing better. It was just quite the shock. So unexpected. Bleeding in the brain. Still in hospital :(

About the Blog Author

City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
