Spring is here
Spring is here, so it's time for a wardrobe change. The weather is getting soooo HOT now that it's time to shed the bulky clothes. With living on the island and working outdoors, I can't really dress up like one would in the city. Seeing as I deal with the public (with the little inn we operate) I need to look somewhat presentable. Seeing how we're also close to the beach, it's also nice to have beach wear!
I'm a fan of comfortable, affordable clothing and Old Navy offers just that. Good thing we have internet, because the island does not have any malls or chain stores/franchises.
Here's what I like so far:
These Old Navy gauchos are super comfortable. They come in 4 different colors. The material is stretchy so they make for great pants to lounge in and work in. Love 'em.
Every girl needs a few new dresses in her closet.
This one is simple and comfy to wear. Nice for dinner at our fave restaurant. There's elastic to keep everything in place. I like the no straps bit because I am working on no tan lines to accommodate my wedding dress!!!!
Every girl needs a good pair of yoga pants! I usually get mine at Old Navy because they fit really well and are super comfy. I got a couple pairs last year (different styles and colors, of course!) when visiting family in New York. There's a great outlet mall in Central Valley, NY. They've got everything there! Anyway, I need yoga pants for pillates and yoga
Now these aren't the most exciting on the list, but they sure are comfortable! Great for walks on the beach. There's a drawstring and the material is a stretchy canvas.

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!
