Thank Goodness for Husbands

and wireless networks!!! Now that I'll be in the hospital until the baby is born (which could be in 2 to 4 weeks instead of 13weeks and 2 days to go), I'll need something to help make the minutes, hours, days, and weeks pass by a bit faster. My family and friends have been amazing and have brought me lots of reading material. Unfortunately, I tend to devour books. I've got a voracious appetite when it comes to reading. I'm almost finished the third book out of the Twilight Saga. I've got tons of books that were given to me, but that should last me a week or two.

When Hubby arrived at the hospital yesterday, he brought my laptop! I cannot tell you how excited I was! I was even more excited when I saw that the wireless connection was working! Thank you for setting me up with wireless, Telling Mom and Telling Dad! Now I can keep in touch with the outside world while I'm on hospital bed rest! Just in time for NaBloPoMo! At least NaBloPoMo will give me something to do while waiting for Junior to be born.

I'm hoping that Junior will hang in here until week 30 or 32. We're just shy of 27 weeks now. Oh, and remember how I was 100% sure that we're having a boy? For some reason, in the past two days I've been thinking Junior may actually be a girl! We shall soon find out!

Yipes! Prayers for you and junior and all your family.

I salute you for holding up during all of this and being able to blog at all! I would be a total basket case. Don't feel bad for getting weepy, it's normal, you are totally operating on hormones and adrenalin.

Good to hear that all is well and that you are in good spirits.

And have a good cry every now and then too - helps to relieve the stress!

I agree with ms.mamma... there IS a book in all of this! You just let the rest of us worry and stress over you... your only responsibility is to keep off your feet, reading and writing, and whispering to your little darling to hang out a bit longer! I am praying a million prayers for all of you... and I am thanking God for all of your family and friends. You are a treasure to all who know you. You are a wonderful, wonderful Mommy... already!

Ms.Mamma:
:) I was thinking a book would be in order too! After all the trials and tribulations we've gone through so far (and seem to continue going through), I've got A LOT to talk about! ;p

Thanks for the positive vibes. Love ya, amiga! XOXO

Yay to hubby, for keeping us up to date, and for bringing you your laptop! I'm thinking of you hon, and hope that this time goes quickly. But not too quickly, if you know what I mean.

OMG, I'm so HAPPY to hear from you! thanks also for your email! I'm surprised you have the energy to do posts and emails, but happy nonetheless. that's simply awesome that you had your aunties come visit you and your good friends also. i'd be crying too if i was all alone while waiting for my husband. you have a lot of support where you are and also out here in the cyber world.

girlfriend, finish Eclipse! then you can start Breaking Dawn! are you still Robsessed? :) by the way, i already bought my Twilight movie tickets. I'm watching it on opening day (i didn't really want to do the Midnight showing - plus i can't find anyone to go with me) with my gay boyfriend, and AGAIN on Saturday with another friend. I may just watch it for a 3rd time with yet another girlfriend! aaagh!

hang in there Junior!!!!!

i noticed they changed word verifications so it's not so jibberish-y. right now it's "aggrishe". funny.

I was thinking you should start on that novel. You know what would be funny, doing food reviews from the hospital menu.

Thank you :) Oh, andI haven't been a trooper at all. I've been a total basket case. The nurses have had to calm me down several times because they thought I would hyperventilate! I was crying so hard that I couldn't breathe. I know it's not good for the baby. I need to work on that. I've been getting better. When I have friends and family keeping me company and talking to me, I'm okay. When I'm alone, it's harder. I guess this is where the blogging comes in handy. It gives me something to do other than worry about Junior.

Can you believe you and I "met" LAST NaBloPoMo??

I'm so thankful Jamie was able to set you up with wireless and that you can use it in the hospital! It will give you something to do. ;)

We'll chat soon, I hope!

Thank you for thinking of us. It still makes me smile thinking that just the other week I received a phone call from you! :)

I've been assured that Junior and I are in the best place possible right now. Apparently, Mount Sinai Hospital is a very reputable hospital that specializes in situations like ours.

My "roommate" is 29 weeks pregnant and has been experiencing cramping and bleeding. The two of us seem to take turns crying! LOL! She's a sweetheart and it's been great having a roomie for the past few days. We know what each other is going through, we share the same worries and anxieties. I am hoping and praying we both keep these babies in for much longer :)

Sharon:
Thank you :) I really do appreciate all your encouragement. It really helps in situations like these. I was going to FB you, but the hospital has blocked FB. At least I can still blog and e-mail!

Deb:
You are a ray of sunshine...do you know that?!?!

All the action that has been going on over the past few days has been really scary. Most of it is a blur to me. I can't even imagine how we got to where we are right now. I never even felt that things were progressing so quickly. I always thought that women got pregnant, they were pregnant for 9 months, they popped out a baby, and then they became mommies! I never ever thought of all the unexpected things that could happen. *sigh*

Louann:
Thanks for thinking of us. I'll hop over to your blog sometime today :)

My Mom is in the Phils. I haven't told her about me being in the hospital or Junior possibly arriving very soon. She's enjoying her time in the Philippines with her friends and my grandma. I'd like her to enjoy herself and not worry and want to rush back here. She'd freak out. The last e-mail she sent me this morning sounded like she was having a blast. She said she's gained weight already and has only been there for 2 weeks! All that good Filipino food! LOL! She's even had a spa day for only 150 pesos! That's crazy! She also said that the internet cafe charges 20 pesos an hour. That is insanely cheap!!

I was surprised that Hubby posted an update! :) Yay, Hubby! He's usually just a lurker and rarely posts anything on the green blog that CK, Fancy, Hubby and I contribute to.

Thanks for thinking of us, J :) It means a lot! XO

P.S. I keep telling Junior to stay put too! I wonder if all the action and excitement we're experiencing now is any indication of what things are going to be like when Junior arrives? Or maybe Junior is getting everything out of his/her system early and will be the most well behaved baby? :) Tee hee!
